No Guilt No Shame Just Acceptance

I want to talk to you about GUILT!

Some times we feel guilty for wanting to take time for ourselves,we feel guilty for not getting things done and we feel guilty for what we think and how we feel.

Guilt can do extreme damage to our self esteem and our self worth.

In today’s video I talk about the guilt I’ve dealt with in myself and give you tips on how to overcome Guilt and shame and start accepting yourself for where you are now.

How to let go of the past and live in the now

In the past few weeks I’ve been experiencing a greet feeling of freedom in letting go of the past and releasing some expectations I put on my future.One of the ways I was able to experience this freedom is by reminding myself to stay in the now.This is not something that I’m just learning, but it is something I have to remind myself to do.

While I was talking to some clients recently I realized that they were going through the same thing in one way or another.So I decided to post this video.

It’s time to go for what you know!

Is there something you need to say to someone, or an action you need to take to better yourself and you’re simply not doing it?

Bruce lee has a quote that I love that says,

knowing is not enough, you must apply; wiling is not enough you must do.

In my life I made it a point to listen to myself and take action on the cues I was getting. It became a really important staple to my self growth and happiness.

Listening to myself and taking action became important to me as I reflected back over my life and took account for all the times I knew I was supposed to say or do something and I didn’t do it.

Just about every time I went against what I knew I should be doing or saying I suffered a negative consequence like bad relationships and wasted time and money this ultimately had a horrible effect on my life and self-esteem.

Now when I hear that still small voice I take action as soon as possible.


If you want to live authentically and stand in your power your thoughts, words and actions must be in full alignment with who you are and what you want.

1.Imagine living a life where you did and said exactly what you wanted to? How would your life be different?

2.Be really honest with yourself and ask yourself what’s stopping you from taking action on what you already know you need to be saying or doing?

3.Then ask you self why it’s stopping you?

3 steps to stop settling for less than you deserve

On my show Wednesday I talked about how I fell into a pattern of settling for less than I deserved in my relationships,health and business.

By settling for less in all of these areas I was basically telling myself that I wasn’t worth being happy or living the life I deserved.

In all these situation I knew I could have been doing better for myself, but I let excuses,fear and lack of motivation keep me stuck in the same place…broke ,over weight,depressed and purposeless.

Who or what are you making more important than you?

Is your whole day a whirlwind from waking up to going to bed?

You can’t be the super woman you want to be if you don’t focus on you before you put on that cape.

Why are you making everything and everybody more important than you?

Stop making excuses for not making time for your self

and do what you need to get that time you need.

You might need to speak up for yourself and tell the people around you what you need and why it’s important.

You might need to let go of something on your “to do list” to make time for yourself.

Bottom line if you aren’t taking time for yourself you’re not showing up in life as your best self.

self -esteem vs self- worth- know what you deserve!

Do you know the difference between self-esteem and self-worth?

Well, self-esteem is temporary, it can change from one moment to the next. We can think we look good one day and our self-esteem can raise, on the next day we might have a bad hair day and our self-esteem can take a hit.

Self-worth is more about how much you feel you deserve something, for example you may stay in a bad relationship because deep down you may feel like you don’t deserve to be in a better one.

You might not ask for a raise, or raise your prices because deep down you think you don’t deserve more money.
